Our lovingly restored mill, whose origins may date back to the first millennium, is located directly on the river in the heart of Erfurt's old town. Once upon a time, the mill wheel turned here, powered by the waters of the Gera River, while the mill served as an important part of the city's artisanal life.
In the 19th century, the Rabenmühle was modernized and equipped with turbines, before being used as the site of one of the city's first fire alarm systems in the early 20th century. Today, the historic building shines in new splendor and offers you a charming retreat where you can enjoy the tranquil atmosphere by the water—just steps away from the sights of Erfurt's city center.
